Generator Capability Curves


Proper use and interpretation of the Generator Capability Curves (sometimes called Reactive Capability Curves) are exceedingly important to long term safe operation of generator equipment. This video refers to hydrogen and air cooled equipment. It explains why and how components are damaged; including field windings, armature windings and core end iron.
