Improve unit availability and reliability with a quality understanding of operations and maintenance of a modern ABB combustion turbine. Series GT8, 11, 13, and 24/26 are included. Reliable operations of modern ABB equipment depends upon operators being thoroughly knowledgeable on what is required for proper preparation, start-up and shutdown as well as correct interpretation of alarms and recommended responses.
This Seminar has been designed for plant personnel who are involved in safely and effectively operating and maintaining combustion turbine produced by ABB. Specifically the Seminar targets Control Room Operators, Shift Supervisors, Engineers, Maintenance Supervisors, and Superintendents.
Upon successful completion of this Seminar the participant should be able to:
  1. Describe the major components and systems associated with combustion turbine.
  2. Describe the sequencing that occurs in a normal startup, synchronization and operation.
  3. Describe the different fuel systems and requirements for operation.
  4. Describe the standard routine operational maintenance philosophy for:

  5. Demonstrate the ability to use effective and safe maintenance procedures.
