Some of the most important components of the auxiliary systems in power plant or process plant are the Centrifugal Pumps. A Centrifugal Pump is the heartbeat of a system. In order to keep fluids flowing through the system a Centrifugal Pump needs to be maintained in good condition and needs to be operated properly. Operators need to be able to understand the proper operating procedures and Maintenance personnel need to be able to understand the workings of the pump along with the maintenance procedures. Both Operations and Maintenance need to be able to understand pump and system curves to determine exactly how the pump can perform under all conditions. Operation and Maintenance personnel need to understand the troubleshooting techniques in order to determine the Seminar of action to take if a Centrifugal Pump is failing or has failed. It is also important for the operator to understand pump theory in order to understand how the fluid is moving through a Centrifugal Pump and what is needed to prevent the loss of the Centrifugal Pump.

HPC Technical Services “Centrifugal Pump” Seminar is intended to prepare you for pump selection, application, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
